As part of our combined 150 hr online + 20 hr face time TEFL training program you will study both the theory and practice of Teaching English as a Foreign Language. The course is designed to provide you with an opportunity to apply the topics you have covered in your online learning into a classroom type environment with teaching practice, observation, feedback thus developing the first teaching skills you need to teach English as a foreign language. Included in the course fee, you will be assigned a personal recruitment consultant to manage your job search and have the opportunity to be placed in a full time paid teaching position in Asia. On the last day of training we will guide you through writing your TEFL teaching CV and preparing for an interview with a school.

In addition to studying the key principles and competencies of Teaching English as a Foreign Language, trainees will also cover the added areas of Teaching English to children, Business English and Content Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). This course equips teachers with an advanced array of skills and the capacity to pursue additional and exciting areas of teaching. Upon completion of the course, you will be qualified to teach English internationally and have the full capacity and confidence to pursue new teaching opportunities with our reputable client schools in Asia.

A distinctive and integral part of your development as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language is a teaching practice component completed in-class over the course of one weekend. The course is delivered at one of our training centres under the supervision of one of our experienced Teacher Trainers. Teaching practice is viewed as an essential part of your professional development and preparation to start your new teaching role. The central focus of this course is on practical teacher training and the module content has been carefully selected to be relevant to the requirements of the industry. As part of the course you will gain from an added one hour seminar on ‘Life as a Teacher in Asia’, in addition to the personalised ongoing support of a professional School Placement Consultant.
